Job Summary:
Our Professional Services Department is looking for a hardworking, innovative and goal driven Implementation Engineer to contribute to the continued success of our company. This position will be a member of our Professional Services team, and is the primary implementation resource in an exciting, customer interfacing role that couples technical and client relationship skills to successfully implement our software solutions. The Implementation Engineer will perform the technical implementation and provide guidance to clients to ensure that the solution is adopted effectively. Excellent communication, along with analytical, problem solving and organizational skills are crucial to the success of this position.
The location of this position is in Peachtree Corners, GA office or remote in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Leads requirements discussions between the Alogent and customer implementation teams, bridging the gap between the customer’s business needs and the Alogent products, including:
- The ability to verbalize, discuss and document client requirements.
- The definition and creation of workflows and business rules.
- The definition of the hardware, system software, and network configurations required for implementations.
- Installs Alogent products at client sites, either on-site or remote, with high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Provides oversight of the verification testing of client workflows.
- Provides hands-on training to clients for installation and operation of Alogent products.
- Conducts analysis and resolution of complex client problems/situations while practicing excellent client relation skills.
- Provides on-site and remote support for client testing.
- Delivers the project task deliverables to, or under, timeline and budget constraints.
- Participates and assists in various interdepartmental processes including technical sales support, project turnover, and defect reporting.
- Recognizes and communicates internally, the potential for additional products and/or services sales to existing clients.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience implementing Alogent’s products or similar industry products
- Specific experience implementing or maintaining enterprise-level systems such as enterprise information management systems (EIM), SSO and API Online banking integrations, Document Management Workflows, back office centralized document scanning systems or similar document processing solutions
- Document management experience in the financial industry
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based software
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting:
- Windows operating systems in a network environment
- Windows Active Directory permissions
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Ability to apply procedural logic to write product-specific scripts to implement documented business requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex client problems and/or situations
- Self-starter with the proven ability to identify what needs to be accomplished as well as prioritize and deliver multiple tasks concurrently
- Ability to lead others through product implementation
- Ability to assist with project management activities
- Ability to communicate with others of varying technical ability in a clear and professional manner
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- A team player with strong relationship building skills
- Willingness to proactively identify, drive, and maintain process improvement objectives
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Supporting integrations with SOAP and RESTful web services
- API and SSO integration experience
- Proficient in writing SQL scripts or SQL reports
- IIS and Website app pools design
- Working knowledge of VMware, Citrix, VDI and terminal services environments
- Security best practices
- Configuring and troubleshooting the following:
- Wide and local area networks
- SQL clusters
- Thin client environments (VMware/VDI, Citrix)
- Load-balanced solutions.
- SFTP
- Experience or familiarity in developing/writing software & pseudocode
- Working with international clients
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based financial technology software in an enterprise environment
- Skilled in interpreting and documenting requirements, and ensuring that solutions meet those requirements
- Superior oral and written communication skills with the proven full software development life-cycle experience; waterfall or agile
- Ability to conduct presentations
Working Conditions:
