Posting Summary
Coordinate, oversee, and implement strategic activities in support of Director and Associate Director of Extension. Provide direct support to Extension leadership for organization-wide strategic planning and implementation; use independent judgement in navigating complex dynamic issues related to organization-wide participatory processes. Develop and maintain functionality of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools and systems; evaluate and recommend methods and systems to advance organizational objectives; develop short-term strategies to advance long-term goals. Coordinate and support Extension efforts to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. Support development of new external partnerships and fundraising efforts.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience required.

Desirable Qualifications
Masters’ degree. Experience in project management; knowledge of Vermont agricultural context; experience as a CRM functional super user or administrator in a dynamic environment with familiarity of the field’s concepts and practices, including commonly used definitions, data, practices, and procedures of service, marketing, communication and database systems. Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption of software platforms. Familiarity with university structures and processes; facilitation skills for meetings and workshops; knowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices; commitment to the principles of applied research and community engagement.

Other Information
May occasionally be required to work on weekends but only in extenuating situations during special Extension events requiring specialized expertise of the Project Implementation Specialist.
