Atlas seeking a full time Industrial Hygiene Project Manager, this is an excellent career opportunity to work with a leading consulting firm on challenging industrial hygiene, asbestos, mold and lead-based paint projects for national clients. Work location is Lenexa, Kansas.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Manage local, regional and national client projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations.
- Provide leadership, training and support to all levels of the organization and serve as a subject matter resource.
- Prepare project budgets, technical proposals and reports and provide related quality assurance/quality control.
- Able to oversee subcontractor management, senior review, and interpretation of laboratory reports, and preparation of figures, tables, and reports, as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, environmental science, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of Industrial Hygiene and building science experience in consulting environments.
- Experienced in writing comprehensive technical reports and proposals.
- Experience maintaining corporate management standards (either as a consultant or an internal compliance officer).
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, MS Office computer, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to perform marketing and develop new business relationships.
Desired Certifications:
- Asbestos certification, Inspector and Project Designer.
- Experience in traditional hygiene sampling such as air, dust and fumes
