Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance plans for production related equipment by using manufacturers’ manuals and identifying KPIs.
- Maintain facilities and supporting equipment such as boilers air compressors and make up air units.
- Identify critical spare parts and maintain records of stock.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Assign work orders to maintenance staff and ensure repairs are completed.
- Identify issues and areas of improvement on production equipment and facility.
- Maintain backups on PLC, Fanuc, ABB, and other critical programing.
- Work directly with vendors, contractors, and machine manufacturers on repairs, machine installations and other services.
- Complete repairs on equipment with high voltage, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Train maintenance team members with a safety-first approach on: LOTO requirements, sequential troubleshooting techniques, root cause analysis, and accurate record keeping with a positive accountability approach.
- Increase production by spearheading continuous improvement projects on multiple machines and processes through cell creation, PLC automation, redundant or excessive process elimination, robotics, conveyors etc.
- Supervise maintenance team by assigning work orders, overseeing completion and logging repairs.
- Created and manage critical spare parts inventory system. Purchase and logging receipts of material.
- Work directly with vendors on pricing and availability of critical spares.
- Manage 5S and Kanban systems within the maintenance shop.
- Work directly with OEMs on custom machines from concept to implementation.
- Create Preventative Maintenance programs for assets using Enterprise Resource Planning.
Experience:
- Industrial maintenance in manufacturing environment: 3-5+ years (Preferred)
- Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- The position is required to be on-site daily
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
