Summary

Nellie's Treehouse is seeking an Associate Infant Teacher 10:30am-630pm to round out our team. This position includes covering lunches, assisting in feeding, diapering, cleaning, and communicating with parents. Nellie's offers competitive pay, paid time off, holiday pay, and benefits. Duties

• covering team lunches
• participate in routine care moments such as feeding, and diapering
• enjoy being outslde for strollers walks
• sit and engage infants in play including reading and singing
• provide snuggles, nurturing and love
• daily end of day cleaning
• Maintain state licensing regulations
• communicate with parents in a professional manner
• carry out other activities as needed

Requirements

• 9-18 credits in ECE although an Associate's degree preferred and experience a plus
• knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices
• able to lift 40+ pounds
• punctual and consistent attendance
• able to pass Criminal/FBI background check
• willing to meet all state required trainings and 18 hrs professional development annually
• work as a team with co-workers and administration to provide high-quality care.

About Us

Nellie's Treehouse is a family-owned and operated child care/early learning center located on Route 101A in Amherst, NH. The program opened in 2000, serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years and has a licensed capacity of 69 students. Nellie's provides 5,000 square feet of indoor classroom spaces and sits on an acre of land.

The goal of the school is to ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times and to encourage successful social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth and development throughout the early years. We acknowledge the importance of authentic partnerships with families as they are their child's first teachers. We recognize each child as an individual and utilize developmentally appropriate, play based curriculum to promote independence and foster creativity.

The center is open from 6:00am to 7:00pm and has an open door policy. Infants and Ones are provided diapers, wipes, spring water and whole milk. Twos, Preschool, Pre-k and K are provided breakfast, lunches and 3 snacks.
