Title: Student Services Specialist / School Registrar
Asset Management & Association Services, Inc. (AMAS)
Summary:
This position represents students and membership, with specific responsibilities and duties related to the education department. Assist in answering general questions related to our school, real estate education courses, as well as association/member services.
Provide exceptional customer service and front office assistance to all members, students, tenants and guests visiting the Atlanta REALTORS Center. Answer and distribute phone calls promptly, courteously and efficiently.
This position is responsible for consistently creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, integrity and trust within the school, membership services and the company as a whole.
General Responsibilities

- Greet members, students, tenants, guests entering the building promptly & courteously
- Provide heavy telephone support
- Receive and respond to phone calls/voicemails and emails regarding upcoming real estate classes and general school information promptly and efficiently
- Process student registrations and enrollment forms
- Prepare class materials for upcoming classes (prep instructors, copies, name/tent cards, sign-in sheets, etc.)
- Track student attendance
- Handle and maintain student records in database system
- Facilitate in person classes
- Monitor online/virtual classes
- Reconcile class information - as assigned
- Data entry (Accuracy is critical)
- Review Google calendar daily / Stay abreast of all upcoming events / classes, activities for all Associations/Board(s) & Capitus/school and ensure all inquiries are handled appropriately
- Provide assistance during Association events and educational sessions, as needed
- Must work well with all levels of people including staff, members and students
- Assist with the on-site registration process for in house events, as needed
- Keep supplies stocked and prep classrooms
- Other duties as assigned, relative to the scope of this position
Requirements / Education / Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years office experience in a professional environment is required. Maintain an exemplary level of professionalism and customer service. Must be very detail oriented; ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills. The position also requires excellent verbal communication skills with effective telephone experience and demeanor; as well as good writing skills. Outgoing personality.
Must have good working knowledge of the Google Suites platform (mail, docs, drive) and/or MS Word, Outlook, and have some knowledge of G-sheets or Excel. Have the ability to learn new software programs quickly and must be willing to assist with a variety of tasks as assigned, as well as troubleshoot basic problems. Data entry experience is a plus and accuracy is critical.
Must have the ability to work independently, as well as with a group. Effectively handle customer issues and/or concerns in a timely and efficient manner and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to arrive early or stay late when occasionally needed.
Associates Degree or related office experience preferred.
A minimum of 2-3 years office experience in a professional environment is required.
This position requires experience with heavy telephone and email communication.
