American Cedar & Millwork, Inc. in Lewes, Delaware is seeking a self-motivated inside salesperson to join our dedicated team.
As an Inside Sales Associate, you will provide critical assistance to customers as they purchase the materials necessary for a wide variety of building projects. From the first moment you greet a customer until their sale has been finalized and beyond, you will provide them with superior service and building supply expertise. This position offers excellent income potential, as well as many training and growth opportunities.
Specific Duties Include:
Answering the phone and general emails.
Assisting customers in providing solutions to meet their needs.
Discussing features and benefits of products and services
Establishing rapport with new customers and nurturing relationships with long-term customers
Soliciting feedback from customers on products and services
Coordinating delivery requests to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Assisting in the development and execution of sales plan and strategy
Determining customers’ needs, recommending appropriate products and solutions, and up-selling additional products and supplies for each job.
Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
Supporting the outside sales team as necessary
Specific Qualifications Include:
A minimum of 3 years of lumber and/or building materials sales experience.
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Solid time management and prioritization skills,
Basic computer skills
Positive attitude and team player
Detail and service-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
