Inside Sales & Marketing Representative
Job description
The inside sales and marketing representative is responsible for assisting with the sale of products or services from beginning to end, accurately distributing sales leads, aiding marketing in product advertising, managing the factory retail store, and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, maintaining product inventory, and marketing products via multiple mediums including but not limited to photography, social media, and print media. This individual can be the direct point of contact with a customer, and in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Phone Inquiries
- On-Line Inquiry Support
- Must be capable of general sales support to include answering product specific questions, detailed discussion, and follow-up directly with customers regarding fire apparatus.
- Shall act as primary point of contact for trade show bookings and scheduling
- Shall assist with factory event planning
- Shall maintain and accurate min/max inventory of products at the factory store.
- Required to provide direct dealer support if called upon.
- Occasional attendance off-site customer or factory events
- Compose and schedule posts across all applicable social media platforms.
- Manage brand interaction on social media platforms in a timely, accurate, and professional manner via comments, direct messages, etc.
- Interact with customers and factory staff to capture real-time social content needs
- Assist with the distribution of digital assets to assist the dealer network
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Experience in customer relations
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Proficient in basic computer skills to include all Microsoft products
- Working understanding of manual operation of mirrorless and DSLR cameras for both still and video usage
- Working understanding of social media platforms from a professional point of view
- High proficiency with time management
- Ability work onsite at the factory during normal business hours
Education and/or Experience
An Associates Degree in business, marketing, or related area preferred but not required.- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience dealing with customers.
- Experience in custom fire truck apparatus is preferred but not required.
- Experience in a production factory setting is a plus.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
