Eaton’s NAS North American Sales division is currently seeking an Inside Sales Support Representative. Candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our Ellisville, MO or Glendale Heights, IL location.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $58500.0 - $85800.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
Responsibilities of an Inside Sales Support Representative include but are not limited to closing orders based upon expertise developed in selling skills and technical knowledge, selling abilities to position Eaton Electrical, Bussmann Series, into preferred position in market and customer activity, providing technical knowledge regarding products/services and negotiating & pricing industrial, construction and OEM projects. This role also sells assigned product lines to targeted customers in designated geography or industry with the objective of optimizing sales volume, product mix and profit margin. The ISE provides technical product support for distributors and other duties that may be assigned by the Regional Sales Director.

In this function you will:
- Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications; determine the minimum bill of material, most competitive price level and shipment cycle within the market segment pertaining to each specific negotiation
- Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution
- Establish and maintain the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the art of salesmanship, application engineering, product knowledge, knowledge of customers business and organization and knowledge of Eaton product lines strategic plans for sales growth

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of sales/customer service experience
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville, MO or Glendale Heights, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- Experience managing sales related projects
- Experience with sales target/lead generation
- Experience with functional oversight/leadership of remote team members
- Experience with providing presentations and training to both internal and external teams
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and provide recommendations to Regional Sales Directors and District Sales Engineers
- Time management, presentation and planning skills
- Possess an understanding of the sales process using sales techniques as evidenced by good customer relationships
- Demonstrated and understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs
- Ability to travel up to 10%
