Essential Duties:
  • Partner with the Insurance Center team to interface throughout company to provide a high level of service to financial professionals regarding departmental offerings such as insurance and annuity products. Builing relationships with insurance carriers and agency partners and working with our internal legal team on establishing selling agreements with those carriers is a major function of the role.
  • Serve as the knowledge expert for other internal Cambridge teams regarding insurance products and licenses.
  • Maintain an enhanced working knowledge of key industry topics and overall familiarity with relevant resources as it relates to departmental offerings and insurance products. Obtain and remain current with insurance licenses and continuing education requirements.
  • Serve as a knowledge leader regarding state insurance licensing requirements and support financial professionals through timely processing of variable and fixed insurance appointments
  • Proactively manage and sustain relationships with MGA or IMO partners
  • Support financial professionals by providing product information and analysis related to fixed and variable insurance
  • Collaborate with internal partners, such as accounting and client solutions, and respond to financial professional inquiries regarding insurance compensation and payout
Education & Experience:
Four or more years of related experience, education and/or training
Certificates & Licenses:
This job requires obtaining a FIRNA Series 6 or 7 license and Insurance Licenses with Life and Health/Accident lines of authority in order to complete job responsibilities. Cambridge will provide financial and educational support towards obtaining required licenses including paid study time, training courses, study materials and online resources.

Compensation: $55,000-$70,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
