Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Inspector to conduct thorough inspections of properties and assess potential risks for insurance purposes. As an Insurance Inspector, you will be responsible for providing accurate and reliable reports for insurance companies to assist them in making informed decisions about coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties, including homes, businesses, and other structures, to assess risk factors and potential hazards.
• Provide detailed reports on the condition of the property, including any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or potential risks.
• Use specialized equipment, such as a camera pole and monopod, to conduct inspections and gather data.
• Maintain accurate documentation and photos of inspections and findings.
• Communicate with Sutton headquarters to ensure that all necessary information is provided in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in insurance inspections, property inspections, or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks and hazards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working in a variety of environments and conditions, including outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
