Job description

Job Summary:
Perform a variety of tasks relating to laser sealing and post seal processing including painting, marking and finishing operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Job Responsibility:

• Working from diagrams and drawings.
• Performing setups and executing hermetic sealing operations using laser welder
• Preparing and priming units for painting, coating and marking.
• Applying paint, ink, chemical products to mark, paint, coat and otherwise finish units.
• Using hand and/or power tools and jigs.
• Manage inventory of paints and chemicals used.
• May conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualification:

• Ability to read and follow Assembly Drawings and verbal instructions
• Mechanical assembly skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlines
• Must be detailed oriented
• Flexible and willing to work on a variety of jobs depending on business need
• Experience using hand tools and their proper application
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• High School Degree or equivalent required

Preferred Qualification:

• Paint and marking related experience
• Working knowledge of laser equipment, tooling, and processes
• Knowledge of ESD procedures
