Overview:

The International Workforce Coordinator works with the Human Resources team and plays an integral role in assisiting our international students who are coming in from 12 different countries. The International Workforce Coordinator will help with their arrival, onboarding, housing, and employment. They will be the main point of contact for our students throughout the season and will be an essential role for the entire seasonal workforce experience.
This position is a temporary position with full time hours, Tuesday-Saturday, from now through October 15th.

Responsibilities:
- Process human resources paperwork including, but not limited to; hire paperwork, Form I9, data entry, updating social security numbers, etc.
- Work directly with Managers regarding placement of students, schedules, etc.
- Learn key Human Resources systems HRIS, ATS, I-9 Compliance, etc.
- Be the main contact for international students regarding employment & housing concerns
- Manage International student arrival and departure information and track student details.
- Assign housing to students, prepare house information booklets, provide assistance to the Housing Coordinator in preparing houses for occupancy or return to homeowners at season end.
- Manually move beds and furniture in and out of homes as needed.
- Conduct housing inspections on a continual basis. Provide feedback to students on the conditions of their homes and deduct charges from their housing department if warranted.
- Lead New Associate Orientation classes including Housing Agreements, bikes, locks, lights and security deposit management. Lead students through the departure process with the assistance of the Housing Coordinator.
- Coordinate and assist with transportation including, but not limited to; airport transfers, cultural immersion trips, social security office & banking visits, and routine weekly trips as needed.
- Coordinate and assist with weekly Bend trips, including doodle polls and strategic planning trip dates/times/frequency.
- Coordinate and execute summer Cultural activities, including planning and communication.
- Respond to emergency transportation needs of the international workforce, for example, unplanned visits to a hospital or urgent care facility.
- Provide coverage for the HR office- meet & greet public, answer phones, filing, etc, as needed.
- Partner with Payroll to ensure all associate are paid timely and in compliance with local and federal wage & hour laws.
- Processes international workforce related paperwork and provide administrative follow up.
- Manage mail process for international workforce.
- Supports and advocates for a team environment in HR and around the resort; behaving with utmost professionalism during the course of the assignment
- High School diploma required, college degree preferred
- Must be available to work Tuesday - Saturday
- Strong computer skills required
- At least one year of human resource experience preferred
- At least one year of housing experience preferred
- Familiarity with BOLI, EEOC and FLSA regulations preferred
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
- Must have strong computer proficiency and comfort with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Must be able to lift carry, push & pull up to 25 lbs without assistance
