Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a full-time Invasive Cardiology Technologist to work day shifts at our Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville location!

*We are offering a sign-on bonus of $5,000 if hired*

The RCIS must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Cert Req: RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) is an acceptable certification for BSP0259 only.

Invasive Cardiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• Prepares Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures (cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.)
• Performs technical duties such as scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring/recording for EP procedures, RF ablations and pacemakers/ICDs.
• Assists with monitoring and care of patient as directed.
• License/Certification Note: A Radiology Tech License or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) is required.

• Associate's Degree

Education Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree

Experience

• Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
• Experience working at another hospital

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
