Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing explosives magazine inventories (ins and outs)
  • Responsible for daily Pick Ticket transactions
  • Assure that Pick Tickets and the Automated Inventory Management System (AIMS) accurately reflect outgoing and incoming quantities by associated names, sizes, and date codes
  • Verify quantities received, match bills of lading, purchase orders and or other system documents
  • Ensure products are properly stored in appropriate locations
  • Assist with the selection and return of explosives products from the magazine(s)
  • Provides daily direction to the load crew and bit sharpener
  • Organize magazines for logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness
  • Assure storage magazines are compliant with regards to safety and security standards
  • Communicate with Site Supervisor on inventory issues/discrepancies, and product replenishment
  • Perform multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient completion of priorities
  • Proactively propose and implements problem solving solutions to improve or overcome inventory issues
  • Can provide training and ‘fill-in’ assistance to any site supervisor either remotely or in person
  • Willingness to perform limited travel within the company’s service region
  • All other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of shipping and receiving and inventory experience
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures
  • Strong written, oral and communications skills
  • Good PC skills required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands
  • Must be able to meet ATF “possessor” requirements
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather
