OVERVIEW:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks an Inventory Control Manager to join the Global Planning, Allocation & Operations team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage global inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically across all systems
  • Work alongside cross functional teams such as DC Operations and Accounting to ensure stock alignment between systems and to minimize physical and financial variances
  • Responsible for reviewing financial impact related to inventory adjustments and oversee all Distribution Center flows for inventory accuracy and identify gaps in the process potentially leading to loss
  • Reconcile all incoming and outgoing inventory flows in all systems (WMS, 3PL, and BI platform)
  • Provide daily KPIs on DC and connect with different business partners internally
  • Identify and analyze gap trends leading to loss and coordinate with key business partners to develop SOPs
  • Create processes and procedures to correct and minimize inventory shortfalls
  • Ensure accuracy of all key functions related to inventory transactions
  • Collaborate with external Inventory Control department in the 3PL to develop procedural recommendations to improve inventory accuracy
  • Develop reporting and dashboards on key business indicator metrics related to Distribution Centers
  • Work cross functionally with internal departments and global 3rd party distribution center partners to develop and implement a cycle count program

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of inventory control experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to work with and analyze data in excel
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work at the micro and macro levels of the business

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000-$130,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
