Position Summary

Ensures proper material flow throughout the warehouse through regular inventory counts, documenting finished goods, ingredients, and packaging/warehouse materials. Organization and attention to detail are critical to this position, a basic understand of Microsoft Office Excel and computer literacy is required, and any NetSuite or ERP or WMS systems experience is a plus. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for organizing the warehouse based on conditions during the week to conduct counts as accurately as possible, while reporting any unidentified deficiencies in inventory to Quality Assurance.

Schedule:
1st shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
(hours are subject to change due to business necessities). Overtime will be offered and may be required to fulfill business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely daily inventory counts.
  • All inventory will be counted on specific days of the week to provide an overall snapshot of inventory level week-over-week.
• Counts performed will regularly include, but not be limited to - Finished Good Juice Cases; Raw, Frozen, and Dry Ingredients; and Packaging material.
  • Inventory will be required to be counted on a lot-controlled basis, and any missing information to be reviewed.
  • Status of production while counts are being performed will need to be reviewed to perform accurate counts around active production usage.
  • Counts will be entered directly onto Excel Inventory reports via tablets running Windows 10.
• Organization of warehouse and staging of inventory for production use.
  • Working closely with the warehouse manager to make sure all inventory is properly tagged with appropriate inventory information and located in the correct warehouse position.
  • Moving inventory between building locations and staging in the appropriate location, so that it is available for use by production.
• Required to collect lot and inventory information for any outbound transfer of ingredients or packaging from Suja to any off-site facilities, for co-manufacturing, resale, or disposals.
• Communicating effectively across various departments to ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
• Reviewing NetSuite inventory levels against physical counts to ensure accuracy of counts.
