Position Purpose:
As the Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for the integrity of the inventory system of the Division. You will ensure daily accuracy within inventory, coordinate inventory inspections, and discover inventory solutions and opportunities. A successful candidate will play a key role in providing quality assurance to warehouse practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensuring accurate reporting of Weekly Inventory situations and the status of issues of concern.
- Managing effective daily Inventory status corrections.
- Coordinating Inventory resolution issues with various Department Managers.
- Collaborating to develop and implement Inventory Management procedures and process.
- Identifying opportunities and implementing process improvements.
- Reviewing ongoing accuracy of Shrink reporting and analysis of various causes of Shrink.
- Collaborate with Op-Co staff regarding inventory needs, concerns, etc.
- Providing support to Controller on various financial and ensuring compliance SOX regulations.
- Multi-Tasking and good communication with the customers is a must.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Degree or General Educational Development (GED)
- Must be able to travel to other Op-Co as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
- Must be able to learn or have experience with AS400 and SAP.
- Ability to learn and adapt to system quickly as well as adapt to changes quickly.
- Must be able to travel to other Op-Co as needed.
