Vascular Institute of Virginia is a multi-specialty practice with locations in Woodbridge, VA, Fredericksburg, VA, Fairfax, VA, and Waldorf, MD. We provide outpatient treatments for many conditions including men’s and women’s health, vascular disease, kidney failure, and oncology.
We are seeking an inventory specialist who will be responsible for the centralized inventory management process and all inquiries, orders, and invoices related to inventory.
Job Functions:
- Order and track facility supplies
- Manage product inventories centrally and within individual office locations
- Prepare and review detailed inventory reports related to stock levels, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments
- Work closely with inventory manager to conduct investigations into count discrepancies, including ensuring that all sales orders, transfers, deliveries, and shipments are accounted for
- Work closely with inventory manager to proactively plan for and address issues related to product location assignments
- Work closely with inventory manager to predict potential inventory problems; develop action plans to address inventory issues
- Work closely with inventory manager and center managers to ensure that inventory-related issues are resolved and communicated
- Collaborate with accounts payable regarding invoices and monthly inventory reporting and tracking
- Additional duties as assigned
Educational / Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Previous inventory management experience preferred
- Previous experience with Stanley Spacetrax preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to travel between VIV office locations, as necessary to support inventory management
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external vendors to maximize cost management, efficiency, organization, problem solving, and results.
