Currently, we have an opportunity for an Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all aspects of our corporate inventory, for our warehouses in the following areas: Wallingford, CT, Newburyport, MA, Williston, VT and Long Island, NY.
  • Accurately receiving all delivered parts and equipment for all warehouse
  • Shipping parts and equipment as needed
  • Updating and maintaining accurate inventory for warehouses and technician vehicles.
  • Running Monthly Parts Used reports to determine accurate inventory needs
  • Updating part information in our web portal.
  • Staging equipment for upcoming projects and ensuring that the proper equipment gets to the appropriate technicians and or locations for service and project work.
  • Generating purchase orders to buy parts for inventory for all of our warehouse locations and technician vehicles, as well as parts needed for service requests being handled by our Field Service Technicians.
  • Pull video from DVR’s
  • Perform other office functions as necessary, including answering phone calls, maintaining office supplies, etc.

This position will be based in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Quick books
  • Purchasing, shipping/receiving experience a plus, but not required; will train
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to travel to all locations as needed

Due to the nature of Brown Security Solutions business, all qualified candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
