Our Information Services Division (ISD) is recruiting for several talented experienced IT Application Developers to join their DRIVES Production Support team!

Duties
As an IT Application Developer, you will be part of a team that supports our driver and vehicle system, DRIVES. You will bring technical expertise to this production team by understanding the system's web services, interface processes, database management, and application development techniques. Your expert knowledge of VB.NET, C#, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and supporting libraries such as jQuery, etc. will be an amazing asset to this team along with, the ability to provide solutions using these technologies. Working independently and collaboratively in this unit, you and the team will be responsible for the analysis, design, consultation, development, enhancement, quality assurance, and implementation of the system. Furthermore, you will be providing exceptional external interface support, not limited to creating new interfaces for external data exchange and inquiry, but also maintaining current interfaces, Secure File Transfer (SFT) support, and support to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Some of what you will do:
- Work with application development supervisors and solution architects to improve technical standards and documentations.
- Perform complex analysis, research, design, troubleshooting, and development on projects using appropriate tools and technologies.
- Contribute to the implementation of complex development efforts.
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Coordinate team members and vendors for development and testing.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
- Eight (8) years of combined relevant education and experience in analyzing, designing, or programming computer systems applications and databases.
Education to experience equivalency
Associates degree = 2 years | Bachelor’s degree = 4 years | Master's degree = 5 years
Education may not be used in lieu of all experience.
What may set you apart:
- A Bachelor’s degree including nine-semester or 15-quarter hours of computer science.
- An Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited vocational training program in an information technology or related program and at least two (2) years of additional experience analyzing, designing, or developing computer systems applications or databases.
- FAST Enterprises GENTAX Software products.
- Development experience in VB.NET, C#, SQL XML, JavaScript, Web Services, Visual Studio (VS).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $76,248.00 - $100,032.00 per year
