Job description
This role will partner with global teams which includes both business and IT teams. This is a critical role for K-C as this role has direct positive impact on all our supply chain operations in warehouses and associated systems in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Manufacturing systems where Kimberly-Clark spends more than $2.2 Billion globally. This role will essentially partner with all regional and global teams in defining roadmaps, implementing appropriate solutions (WMS), influence stakeholders as Kimberly-Clark aggressively invests on a technology transformation.
Key Accountabilities
- Initiates and influences relationships with and between key stakeholders. Acts as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders and influencers.
- Supports effective business change by building relationships with and between senior business folks, vendor partners, architects, and operational business partners.
- Builds relationships with global business teams in the logistics space to increase business opportunities. Advises them on the selection of systems, technology, and related services to meet their business objectives.
- Creates, identifies, and responds to opportunities for providing products and services to the logistics organization, liaising with those responsible in own organization. Promotes products and services at a high level, both internally and externally.
- Develops and manages defined communication channel(s) and/or stakeholder groups, proactively seeking to identify potential demand, and drive the creation of the business case.
- Advises and influences business clients and customers, at management level, regarding the delivery, costs, availability and functionality of services and systems.
- Works directly with Business resources to establish requirements for the implementation of changes in the business process.
Key Qualifications and Experiences
- Good knowledge about WMS systems like Blue Yonder, Manhattan or SAP EWM systems
- A Bachelor’s degree with 12+ of relevant experience with demonstrated skills or 15 or more years of applied experience with demonstrated skills
- Broad and detailed IT knowledge, together with understanding of the principles of business and markets and experience in relevant business sectors.
- Strong planning, communication and presentation skills, the capability to listen and influence, and is proficient in project management.
- Held prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders.
- Leads global teams and is a strong business and IT influencer
- (Standard) Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
- Good to have: Supply chain expertise in a broader area like Transportation, Manufacturing, Planning etc.
- (Preferred) Experience working in a global IT organization; preferred experience working in or supporting a business.
