The IT Control Testing team conducts control testing assessments to provide assurance that controls are operating effectively across the organization and that internal and external regulatory and legislative expectations/requirements are met. As part of the Enterprise Technology(ET) IT control testing team, an IT GRC Analyst will conduct control testing assessments on a variety of Enterprise Technology(ET) and Information Security(IS) controls as defined by the Enterprise Test Schedule, and the expectations of several risk programs (Financial Reporting Controls, Compliance Risk Control Assessments and Office of Privacy, Information Security and Enterprise Technology). Control testers are 1st line (in the 3 lines of defense model) and are expected to follow the testing methodologies defined by 2nd line Risk programs. IT Control testing helps enable meeting Enterprise regulatory and compliance requirements and helps protect our State FarmĀ® brand.
- Conducting control testing assessments on ET and IS controls
- Conducting follow-up with Control Owners on any deficiencies found in testing
- Consulting with internal team members and Control Owners on control improvement
- Participating in process improvement of team processes
- Participating in special assignments related to control testing
- Participating in special assignments related to the overall risk process
- Research/investigate emerging security threats, capabilities, risk topics, IT and Information Security policies with a broad understanding of governance
Required Skills:
- Strong IT or Information Security background
- Ability to work in the grey
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Learning agility
Preferred Skills:
- ITIL expertise
- Compliance, Risk and/or Process experience
- Familiarity with Archer
- Technical Writing

- Compensation Range: $62,283.65-$99,742.50
