Job description

Pomeroy is seeking a Customer Technology Service Desk Representative for a 3-6 month contract. We are looking for highly motivated individual with a great work ethic and a passion for being at the forefront of healthcare technology. Shifts are Monday through Friday and range anywhere from 7am - 7pm CT.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT related support
  • 5+ years in customer Service
  • History of escalation/ticketing system experience
  • Active Listening and Comprehension Hearing and understanding the true issues behind the customer interaction.
  • Active Directory
  • Critical Thinking and Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Computer Technology – Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Word and excel related suites. (documents, spreadsheet manipulation)
  • Web navigation as well as browser troubleshooting
  • Experience with basic IT support within the Healthcare industry is a plus
  • CompTIA A+ Certification Strongly Desired

Responsibilities:

  • Answering both customer and employee inquiries on a variety of products
  • Providing support through phone, email, and a ticketing system
  • Assist and resolve with simple connectivity and web-based issues
  • Act as knowledge expert on services listed below

Our proprietary product offerings include:

  • SupplyManager ecommerce ordering system
  • ORBITS suite of inventory and charge management products, including barcode scanning technologies.
  • As well as various other company products currently in the environment or yet to come.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
