As an IT manager on our External Data team, you will have an opportunity to lead one of the standing teams focused on bringing external data into Progressive and transforming it to be used by our business partners. The External Data platform plays a vital role in the support of Progressive’s growth strategy and is used by all product lines across the company including Auto, Commercial Lines and CRM. This leadership team is a dynamic group that is closely aligned and integrated with our business partners. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to lead and develop a cross functional team located across the United States along with external labor provided by partners. Staff engagement and development of new skills will be key as our organization continues to evolve in our agile journey while pursuing continuous improvement opportunities.

This is a remote position for US based work only.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and two years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery
• Instead of a degree, four years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery may be accepted

Preferred Skills

• Agile mindset and Lean Leadership experience
• Demonstrated strengths in IT service management (service and process ownership)
• Proven ability to build relationships

Compensation

• $120,000-$150,000/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
