Description:

The IT Operations Tech is the Level/Tier 3 in the environment and serves as the escalation points between taking overflow from the Desktop/Level 2's and supporting projects, while eventually they aim to work with Networking/Systems to take operational work off their plate that is otherwise bogging them down. This position exists to allow Engineers to focus on building/engineering platforms, while offering additional IT project support. Currently they have a lot of new adds/builds and they will be tied to a lot of new environmental deployments, roll-outs.

Job Summary:

The Operations Technician will be part of a team responsible for monitoring and maintaining our server and network environments. That team will also have responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance/administration of phone systems, audio/video conference rooms, asset management, procurement, logistics and daily reporting on systems status.

The candidate must have the ability to rack and stack within a networking closet environment and must be will to be on-site and travel to multiple buildings around the area.
