Position Summary: This position provides technical support for all Wilsbach system users and is responsible to assist with the setup, maintenance and security for all data processing and programming activities for Wilsbach IT related systems. Must be knowledgeable in Apple IOS, and proficient in excel and/or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and/or maintenance of computer related hardware devices such as servers, switches, desktops, laptops, printers, IOS devices, TV/AV devices, telephones, copiers, and any other computer or network related device.
  • Ensure all software and hardware is up-to-date and install updates as required.
  • Troubleshooting of network issues, communications issues, and end-user hardware/software issues.
  • Assist with managing Active Directory objects and supported functions including trusts, group policies, organizational units, computers, and maintenance of user database.
  • Use of ticketing system(s) to log and monitor issues.
  • Analyze ticket data to provide suggestions/solutions for corrective actions as applicable.
  • Corporate liaison for technical providers including, but not limiting to, Vermont Information Processing (VIP); any needed supplier platforms; Electronic Payment providers; and Online Ordering platforms.
  • Assist with building security functions such as the maintenance of access security system, alarm system and camera surveillance system.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
  • Assists with creation and maintenance of all computer network system and hardware documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Train and provide local and remote support to end-users regarding anything IT related.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Sr. Director IT/Administration.

Qualifications:

  • Adjusted/Flexible hours to support daily IT tasks, including possible evening and/or weekend support.
  • Effective communication (written and oral) and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency when performing tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective at building relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently and a drive to research and develop IT related projects.
  • 1-3 years of progressive IT support (preferably distribution experience).
  • Minimum of AA certificate/degree in IT, IST or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Apple IOS, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Working knowledge in firewall configuration, general networking, and wireless networking.
  • Working knowledge of basic corporate accounting.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs as needed.
