Responsibilities:
Responsible in maintaining a stable corporate data center by monitoring and performing administration and maintenance on a daily bases. Assist Technology Support staff with issues that need to be escalated. Need to be able to deal with complex problems to resolve them in an appropriate time frame. Must be able to react to problems quickly and provide workable resolutions in a short time period. Must complete projects and tasks, as assigned by management, and create/maintain documentation that will be handed over to support staff. Assist in the backup and recovery operations of bank application systems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows server systems and virtualized datacenter infrastructures using primarily VMware. Hyper-V and AHV a plus.
  • Provide advanced technical support of various software systems, including Active Directory, VMWare, core banking and ancillary products, etc.
  • Provide advanced system hardware and/or software support of servers, PC's, ATM’s and printers to all administrative centers and branches. Occasional onsite support may be provided to all administrative centers and branches
  • Provide advanced support for Citrix environment including version updates, image creation, application deployment, extended troubleshooting, on-prem and cloud systems integration.
  • Provide advanced support of system operations at administrative and regional operations centers and branches by monitoring systems for performance and stability. Maintains accurate network documentation such as maps and server backup.
  • Manage projects of new server hardware and software installations and upgrades.
  • Assists with backup and recovery requirements of the Data Center, administrative/regional operations centers, and Azure cloud operations.
  • Works closely with IT management and assists with the activities of other resources on the projects (i.e., Technical support personnel, outside engineers and technicians)
  • Produces management reports detailing project status and prepares system documentation to turn over to Technical Support on completion of the project.
  • Provide system troubleshooting such as server and connectivity problems along with software performance problems interacting with network administration as required.
  • Research, recommend, deploy and administer monitoring, orchestration and automation tools of the Data Center, administrative/regional operations centers, and Azure cloud operations.
  • Set-up and configuration of new hardware and software to the specification needed for various departments, administrative/regional centers and branches.
  • If unable to close requests, escalates problems to next level when necessary.
  • This position requires minimal travel to remote locations.
Qualifications:
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field or equivalent experience required. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other system or network related fields are a plus.

Skills:
Strong working knowledge of virtualization using VMWare, Hyper-V or AHV is required. Strong knowledge of system administration and monitoring software, hardware, and optionally networking protocols is required. Preference given to those with Citrix experience with both Citrix on-prem and cloud application delivery and management. Cloud administration experience with Azure or AWS is preferred, along with scripting, orchestration and automation tools. A proven track record of developing and implementing IT system administration strategy and supporting deployment plans is desired. Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols. Ability to work independently as well as in a team to remain on task. Must have a valid drivers' license.

Experience:
3-5 years of system administration, database or optionally network administration experience in an experience in an enterprise network environment. Citrix experience required.
Min: USD $55,341.00/Yr. Max: USD $80,000.00/Yr. Other Job Information:
