Position: IT Systems Technician

This position is part-time. It's a great opportunity to augment your full-time job, learn, and grow professionally.

Key words: Small Business IT, MS 365, Router, Firewall, Wi-Fi, Data Backup, Windows, VPN, Data Backup, Troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

· Microsoft 365 administration

· Account management and interface to clients

· Provide IT systems sustainment, configuration, troubleshooting, and support

· Support and troubleshoot day-to-day IT and network issues with desktop applications, computer hardware, and operating systems

· Provide IT support and interaction with clients generally using Windows including configuring new computers, responding to hardware and software support issues, and configuring user accounts

· Support and maintain client networks, firewalls, VPN, and security

· Bring in new clients and drive revenue

Requirements:

· Experience supporting small business IT systems

· Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport and trust with clients

· Reside in San Diego area; ability to travel locally to client locations in San Diego area

· Strong technical skills with IT systems; strong IT troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills; ability to learn quickly

· Strong user support skills; good attitude; positive and professional demeanor

· Strong verbal communications and writing skills; ability to communicate professionally in email

· Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical issues that clients can understand

· Ability to complete projects; ability to take direction

· Experience with Windows desktop & servers, MS 365, Backup Systems, NAS, and networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, Windows Networking, Firewalls, Routers, VPN, VoIP, etc.)
