Job Description Summary
This position is an experienced level technical project management position and assumes smaller scale projects during a training period or in an assistant capacity to more senior staff until experience is gained (both in terms of understanding Magellan specific business acumen and project management methodology). This role assists in developing and maintaining project charter, detailing project plans, weekly status updates and providing problem resolution. Assists with managing schedules and assignments of project members within a matrix structure. Helps ensure that all project activities are coordinated and supportive of the project scope, time and budget. Must be familiar with the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Communicates with Information Technology Director, functional area managers and/or business leaders regarding status of specific projects.

- Work successfully with technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong organization, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and time management skills
- Coach and mentor others in the Agile approach to software development
- Support the software development team by removing roadblocks, empowering team members and functioning as a servant leader
- Coordinate to ensure delivery of sprint commitments and meet objectives
- Foster a collaborative and engaging team environment
- Track and analyze team metrics to create actionable continuous improvement objectives
- Effectively manage evolving and competing objectives
- Participate in developing roadmaps to drive solutions for business and customer needs
- Plan sprints and track work to align with the roadmap and business strategy
- Act as a liaison between the software development team and stakeholders
Responsibilities

Potential pay for this position ranges from $72,130.00 - $115,410.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
