JOB DESCRIPTION

Skyway Precision is seeking a Janitor for our Plymouth, MI plant. In this position you would be responsible for overall cleanliness of shop areas, bathrooms, floor surfaces, stock and inventories of cleaning, supplies, and consumables (i.e. soaps, tissues, etc).

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Restrooms to be cleaned and stocked daily tissue, soap refill, empty waste containers, sweep mop floors, wipe down/disinfect fixtures, etc.
• Shop areas: empty waste cans, sweep isles of general debris-chips, paper, rags, wood, etc. Operate Tennant floor cleaning machine on all aisle way floor surfaces 1 or 2 times daily based on traffic volume.
• Collect used pallets, dunnage, dividers, cardboard, etc. Sort to proper holding areas and recycling areas.
• General cleaning of shop areas, storage areas around production equipment, etc. sweep, mop as needed.
• Responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of Tennant floor scrubber machine plug in to charger nightly, replace as needed filters, scrub pads, squeegee blades, hoses, etc. Report needed supplies to maintenance manager.
• Warehouse area: sweep/floor, run floor scrubber in aisle areas, empty trash cans by weekly or as required.
• Per requirement “special projects” (i.e. clean parking lot areas, dumpster areas, etc) to be determined by management as needed.
• Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.’s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).
• Follows all general safety rules, procedures and regulations.
