We are currently seeking a Java Developer - Jr/Intermediate to join our team in New York, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
- Working in an Agile environment with users across Advisory and Market Abuse Compliance teams to implement innovative ideas, reduce Risk, and increase business efficiency.
- Involvement in the full development lifecycle of the project to ensure we iteratively deliver value to our stakeholders engaging with other developers and technologists globally to drive both the platform's resiliency and scalability.
- Providing 3rd line support, when necessary, and should have experience with design and development Java 8+, an aptitude for understanding complex enterprise-scale systems, and good problem-solving abilities. Must possess a keen interest in the latest development tools and an enthusiasm for both technology and the business domain.
- 5+ years of experience with Java and RDBMS databases, including work experience in software development.
- 3 + years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 3+ years of Spring experience
- In-depth knowledge and solid commercial experience of Azul OpenJDK 11.
- Strong Experience in Spring, MVC, JDBC, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
- Experience in automated testing and continuous integration (Auto SDLC) platforms
- Good architectural knowledge, and experience working with frameworks & distributed environments.
- Good Understanding of Python
- Good understanding of Databases (Sybase, SQL Server )
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud implementation.
- Experience in Investment Management Advisory Compliance ( understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and OTC products ) will be a plus.
- Excellent communication
