Java Developer SOAP - REST (Remote, Northeast)
We are currently recruiting a Java Developer for our client, a Commonwealth of PA entity. This will focus on the development of an enterprise IT solution to cater to the user authorization management needs of various business applications.
This contract position is long-term with funding approved until 6/30/2023 (extensions likely) and approved every 12 months. 40 hours per week role.
This position is remote supporting our client's offices located in Harrisburg PA. The candidate should reside within a 2-3 hour commute from Harrisburg, PA for an occasional onsite meeting.
The chosen candidate will need to report onsite for equipment pick-up.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshooting, and document engineering software applications.
Analyzes the functional and technical impact of changes and makes sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the product.
Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues, risks, and action items affecting own work and work of the Application Team.
Assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.

REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years of experience with IT Development in web services design & development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) and relational database development using SQL.
5+ years of experience working with J2EE, Spring Boot and experience in one or more JavaScript based frontend frameworks like ReactJs, VueJs, NodeJs
Desired Knowledge and skills in the following
o Developing dynamic applications with externalized, configuration-driven content & business logic
o Spring-LDAP and sprint-tx frameworks
o Developing with VueJS.
o Azure DevOps.
