The individual in this position will work within a team—creating, designing and executing packaging to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a conceptual thinker. What will you do?
Develop visual communication designs, from concept sketching through final storyboards.
Sketch/Storyboard quickly and efficiently for the Exosphere specific template, taking POV, UV wrapping and scale into account.
Collaborate with project teams in research, ideation and development of original, scalable concepts for various media: motion graphics, live show visuals, brand installations, & user experiences.
Partake in ideation and design sessions, delivering concept sketches for multiple iterations.
Source references and identify trends from the worlds of design, art, film and music.
Ensure that all work meets a high level of creativity, innovation and brand association.
What do you need to succeed?
1 year or past internships of experience working in a fast-paced professional creative production studio.
Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, concept treatments, etc.)
Demonstrated visual design software proficiency (Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, Illustrator etc.).
Strong design background; understanding of typography, graphics, layout, form, color and spatialization; well versed in design process and production methods.
A knack for capturing the spirit and motion of a concept in sketch/storyboard format.
Able to work in varying degrees of fidelity, from sketching through production (speed vs quality).
Able to communicate the thinking behind your process.
Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of emerging creative technologies, best practices and experimental approaches in design, marketing and brand communications.
Real-time software experience a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
