Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years experience in accounting.
• 5+ years experience in the auto industry (preferred)
• Experience in DealerTrack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate reporting of vehicle floor plan and corresponding payoffs.
• Assisting with Year-end Audits and Compliance Reports. This includes any monthly reports to follow CPA’s requirements and create a monthly cadence in preparation to year-end.
• Assist Sr. Controllers with accounting and Month-end duties to support any needs that other departments have on modifications to existing processes and the ME process to reconcile and clean schedules.
• Assist with billing and tax documentation preparation (CO Payback and Sales Tax).
• Assist with Month-end WIP analysis and reconciliations. The WIP reconciliation will be processed after payroll is posted for the month in question. The analysis will identify the variances between COS of flagged hours and flagged hours paid.
• Coordinate monthly review of all scheduled accounts and approve necessary adjustments.
• Produce weekly reports for management including aging analysis and detailed expense analysis. Weekly meetings will be scheduled with the GMs to go over the asset and liability accounts and report the status of the GL.
• Learn the payroll posting process and assist with this process.
• Preparing Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end financial reports.
