Job description
This Junior Graphic Design position will be working in a team approach with other designers, interns, departments, and the Creative Director on projects and assignments. Assignments primarily come from the Marketing Director, Creative Director, or Marketing Supervisor. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in print production while also working within our remote design team.

- Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy a diverse array of projects
- Versatile design abilities in branding, typography, and motion
- Pitches creative concepts to the head designers and creative director.
- Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects
- Maintains current knowledge of design trends
- Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
- Works closely with peers and sets a tone of a partnership between teams
- Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude
- Adapts to additional duties and tasks
Qualifications:
- 1 year or past internships of experience working in a fast-paced professional creative production studio.
- Proficient in a variety of methods to convey ideas and concepts (e.g. storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, concept treatments, etc.)
- Demonstrated visual design software proficiency (Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, Illustrator etc.).
- Strong design background; understanding of typography, graphics, layout, form, color and spatialization; well versed in design process and production methods.
- A knack for capturing the spirit and motion of a concept in sketch/storyboard format.
- Able to work in varying degrees of fidelity, from sketching through production (speed vs quality).
- Able to communicate the thinking behind your process.
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of emerging creative technologies, best practices and experimental approaches in design, marketing and brand communications.
- Real-time software experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
