Micro-bakery seeks full-time and part-time kitchen staff

Join a friendly and enjoyable work environment in Lansdale. I am looking for kitchen staff to assist with food preparation and cooking/baking. I make savory pies from scratch.

This is not summer or temporary job. It is great opportunity for retirees and Mom’s.

Responsiblities:

Assisting in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients

Cooking and preparing pie fillings as well as portioning and storing

Assembling and putting together products which may include hand shaping and operating mini pie press

Baking and cooling products

Packaging and label the finished product

Heating pies for immediate sale

Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and utensils

Cleaning and sanitizing food storage areas and food prep areas, sweep/mop floors, and take out trash

Assisting with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage

Interacting with customers as needed

Requirements:

Physical ability to stand for the entire shift

Motivated to learn new skills

Enjoy baking/cooking

Previous experience in food production is helpful

Strong teamwork and communication skills
