Kumon Tutor/Teaching Assistant

Kumon is an ideal place to work for HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, given the PART-TIME work schedule and nature of the job. Please note this job requires you to come IN-PERSON to the Kumon center for work; you cannot work remotely.

Tasks:

• Help guide students through their assignments. The position would entail working with Pre-K through 5th grade students.
• Grade math and reading assignments
• Provide feedback to director on student performance

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be responsible and mature, and have a positive and respectful attitude toward students, parents and other center staff.
• Must have a personality that will be engaging and interactive with students.
• Enjoy working with kids and comfortable working with students.
• Prior work experience is a plus but is not required. Training will be provided.
• Can work a MINIMUM OF TWO DAYS PER WEEK: Both Tuesdays AND Thursdays from 4pm-7pm. A Saturday shift from 10am-1pm is also possible, if desired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
