Title: Lab Operations Manager

Location: Foster City, CA

Rate:$35/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage laboratory facilities and resources, including equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and workspace allocation

· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and develop and maintain standard operating procedures

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory activities, such as sample preparation, data analysis, and quality control testing

· Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations and increase efficiency

· Oversee the hiring, training, and development of laboratory staff, and ensure adequate staffing levels to support business needs

· Monitor and report on laboratory metrics, including utilization rates, productivity, and costs

· Provide technical expertise and support to laboratory teams as needed

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, engineering, or a related field

· 3+ years of experience in laboratory operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment

· Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and regulatory compliance requirements

· Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

· Strong leadership and people management skills

Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
