About Infinite Genomics, LLC

Infinite Genomics is a molecular, diagnostic-testing laboratory specializing in reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing and next-generation sequencing technologies. Our state-of-the art laboratory is based in North Little Rock, Arkansas and serves clients throughout the United States. Having a highly efficient, automated lab process with a paperless, web-based system, the laboratory can provide a 24 to 48-hour turnaround of results after receipt of specimen.

Opportunity

Infinite Genomics, LLC, is looking for Laboratory Accessioners to work in its North Little Rock laboratory. The Laboratory Accessioner, using general laboratory methods, techniques, equipment, and instrumentation supports laboratory operations through general maintenance of laboratory and supply storage areas, equipment, instruments, and supplies. The Laboratory Accessioner helps prepare samples and supports lab operations as requested.

Day shift is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; evening shift is 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; and, night shift is Midnight to 8:30 a.m. Each shift has a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples for analysis
• Performs sample preparation
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled
• Prepares general laboratory paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and laboratory logbooks
• Prepares the laboratory for next day’s samples
• Stocks laboratory supplies
• Purges samples to be discarded and boxes samples to be stored
• Cleans work area(s) to maintain a safe working environment
• Assists laboratory operations as needed
