Laboratory Assistant
National Spine & Pain Centers, the nation's largest interventional pain management practice, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support our team at our Orlando, Florida . This position will be is responsible for maintaining blood draws and processing schedule for regenerative procedures.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, ordering, accessioning for each urine sample submitted to the laboratory.
- Demonstrates knowledge of specimen collection and handling requirements.
- Prepare and maintain temperature records.
- Handle and log all rejections.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion.
- Label specimens accurately.
- Clean and maintain work area, lab equipment and stock supplies.
- Clean all glassware.
- Maintain strict level of confidentiality regarding lab results and records.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with all team members and respond to any phone calls and requests for lab reports and requisitions.
- Assist team in whatever is needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or higher
- Computer skills
- Willing to train right candidate
