Requirements for consideration:

• High School diploma, GED, or documented foreign equivalent.
• 1-year or experience in a clinical laboratory environment or as a phlebotomist highly preferred.
• Medical Lab Assistant certification, Phlebotomy training certificate, Phlebotomy or ASCP certification preferred.

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• As a Laboratory Technician Assistant 1, you will communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members to optimize job performance and foster working relationships.
• To help achieve our mission, you will ensure accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity.
• Your ability to verify product and/or test components when processing is of vital importance.
• Managing specimen accessioning accurately/efficiently to provide quality specimens for Laboratory testing is expected.
• Performing billing/registration procedures accurately and efficiently in order to ensure regulatory compliance is required.
