Title : Laboratory Technician (QC Tech)

Location : Charlotte, NC - 28202

Duration : 06+ Months contract (Possibility for extension)

Shift : 2nd Shift (2pm – 10pm)

Pay Rate : $18/Hr.

Essential Job Functions:

· Conduct laboratory tests and analyze data for a variety of purposes, such as production, quality control, and minor research.

· Test and analyze products such as flour and wheat products to determine if product meets plant specifications prior to release.

· Release within specification vessels and report out of specification vessels.

· Document results of testing in Total Lab Client (TLC).

· Complete Certificates of Analyses. Prepare chemical solutions for use in the lab.

· Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and related field instrumentation.

· Maintains awareness and adheres to all FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines.

· Support and comply with all food safety, quality, and legality requirements.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Able to Understand and Comply with Plant GMP and Personnel Practice Requirements

· Computer Skills to Utilize Lab Instrument Operation Programs

· Basic Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge

· Demonstrate Math Skills to Perform Calculations Associated with Lab Testing

Pay: $18.00 per hour
