$18.32-$19.43 Pay Increases to $18.68 - $19.82 on 7/1/23

The Town’s Human Resources Department, on behalf of the Municipal Maintenance Department, is accepting applications for full-time Laborers to work at Municipal Maintenance and the Transfer Station. This is a forty (40) hour a week union position with on-call, overtime and a generous benefit package. The schedule is Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.

Education: High School Graduate or the equivalent training and experience.

Requirements: Applicants are required to do heavy physical labor efficiently. The job involves heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and reaching. Will perform tasks in connection with the maintenance and construction of sidewalks, streets and parks, as well as, street sweeping, shoveling snow and mowing lawns. Will also assist in plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs. Will work in all weather conditions. Subject to CORI/SORI check, pre-employment physical and drug test.
