R.P. Marzilli & Company is an award-winning landscape contractor that builds and maintains complex ultra-high-end landscapes for our distinguished clients. We are dedicated landscape professionals who are committed to leading the industry in quality construction and highly satisfied clients. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an Operations Manager for our Plymouth, MA Branch.

Responsibilities consist of oversight of all day-to-day operations in our Landscape Maintenance departmentensuring that we continually exceed client satisfaction, jobs are finished within budgeted timeframes, and our expectations of quality are met. Our Maintenance Operations includes but is not limited to the following departments: general landscape services, horticulture, seasonal color installations, plant health care, turf care, arboriculture, holiday décor, plowing, irrigation, and landscape enhancements.

Typical job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Regular communication with Fleet Manager to ensure proper vehicles and equipment are being utilized efficiently and that maintenance teams have what is necessary to complete work.

• Weekly and daily scheduling of all crews across all production divisions

• Regular communication with Account Managers to ensure that client’s expectations are being met or exceeded

• Strategic planning, routing, and forecasting so that work is being completed by necessary deadlines.

• Interfacing with and scheduling with subcontractors as needed

• Assistance in training crew leaders in the field

• Assistance in implementing company safety protocols

Highly successful Operations Manager Candidates possess the following qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of relevant landscapemanagement experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, scheduling programs, and project management tools

• Strong communication skills, critical thinking skills, and problem solving skills

• Desire to be the best in industry and to further advance the landscape profession

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
