HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Collects and sorts all soiled linen properly.
• Spot treat stains so linen is ready for washers.
• Use chemicals as instructed.
• DO NOT leave for the next shift what you have time to do on yours.

• Fill/replace spray bottles as you empty them.
• Familiarize yourself with electrical shut off and fire exiting locations.

• Sweep floor and vacuum hall. Empty garbage and pull in bins.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend and lift; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The employee must continuously lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

In addition to the above duties, the Laundry attendant may be cross-trained in Housekeeping in order to guarantee more hours, as requested by employee.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.75 - $14.25 per hour
