Located in Downtown Pittsboro, a quaint, quiet and clean small town where the residents are very kind and often repeat customers. It is very important to maintain good relationships with our customers and community.

The Center Associate is responsible to deliver World-Class customer service to all customers. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate will have strong Computer Skills as well as strong Written, Verbal and Listening Skills. The ideal associate must also be friendly with a genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or She must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Takes ownership of the customers shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all products and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Scan, copy, or fax documents in a timely manner.
• Answer phone calls from customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of Age and have High School Diploma
• Driver's License
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Outgoing individual with excellent customer service skills
• Computer literate
• Be able to multi-task and must have ability to effectively cross-sell in a fast-paced retail environment
• Professional, resourceful, flexible, action oriented, enthusiastic, team player
• Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Shipping and packaging experience a plus
• Can lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work Saturday and Sunday
• Must agree and be able to pass Department of Justice background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
