Description: Barnesville, Ga – New Choices Residential Drug Addiction Treatment Facility

Lead Client Support Workers needed for full-time positions, evenings, nights, and some weekends.

Arranges for needed medical care and provides needed services to ensure that medical care is obtained via transporting clients to appointments and communicating to other support staff when follow-up appointments are scheduled. Assists in presenting educational groups/lectures related to appropriate topics. Care for clients and families during periods of incapacitation, family disruptions or other needs. Performs housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing linen/bedding/towels, and running errands. May advise clients on behavioral issues, daily decision making, and the resolution of minor problems. Completes the CSW schedule and supervises all CSW’s ensuring all shifts are covered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals in a residential setting population with substance abuse and addictive disease.

Entry Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.

NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:

Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation

Pay: $29,960.96 per year
