LEAD COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD DOOR TECHNICIAN - $22-$30/hr - Direct Hire - Bogart GA

Must have:
  • Valid Drivers License - will be issued a company truck
  • Commercial experience - minimum 1 year
  • Electrical, Mechanical aptitude, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and/or Welding

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Lead Technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties from installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining customers' docks, doors, gates, and grilles, all while maintaining companies 5-star rating. This pivotal, performance-driven position helps us maintain 100% customer satisfaction.

Salary: Up to $30/HR (BOE)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the industry and possesses the interpersonal skills to thrive in this service/customer service-focused position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to work assignments and tasks as directed by the Manager/Dispatch
  • Review Work Order information for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain payment logs and collect payment per company procedures
  • Pick up weekly inventory and ensure the truck is (re)stocked with appropriate service material, including tools
  • Inspect garage/entry doors, openers, docks, and related components; diagnose problems; replace or repair parts; test and make adjustments, and document all recommended and completed repairs per company policy
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Detect faulty operations, and defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
  • Data entry within company software

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE in Commercial Lead Service and/or Install Technician.
  • Physically able to move items weighing 50+ pounds and the ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, etc. for extended periods
  • Desire to be active outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Electrical, Mechanical aptitude, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and/or Welding
  • The availability to work a flexible schedule including nights (very occasionally)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, and climb and work from ladders.
