Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cook will be responsible for preparation of all meals for patients, employees, customers, and special functions. Must be able to estimate food requirements and requisitions needed for functions. The cook will also be required to posses knowledge of correct hot and cold temperatures as well as holding temperatures.

What you will do in this role:

• Follows state federal regulations on food safety and sanitation.
• Keeps clean work area and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Removes all trash & boxes from work area as needed.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes for food preparation.
• Demonstrates clean work area and implements "clean as you go" policy.
• Demonstrates knowledge of proper chemical usage and MSDS.
• Demonstrates safe and effective use of all dietary equipment.
• Proper dating and labeling of food items for a Food & Sanitation Procedure.

What qualifications you will need:

  High School Diploma or GED Coursework at Technical School/College - Required
• 6 Months Minimum in Related Role - Preferred
